Sounds like the pop up flash head is not going all the way up, or the little switch under the pop up head/Flash is not coming up, Ck that switch to see if it\'s up, if it is then the top of the camera has to come off to be fixed

Onn tv factory reset

There are two types of reset to TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight; will be better. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

Flash wont pop up err05

Usual cause is either spillage or impact to the flash unit. Most spillage is on the two flash pivots. Pull on top cover when it is attempting to go up to free it and remove the screws underneath and pry off the flash cover. You can now reach the pivot screw (many times rusted - remove, scrape off rust, and put on grease and re-install). BE VERY CAREFUL. THERE IS 300 VOLTS ACROSS THE FLASH TUBE AND YOU CAN GET A NASTY SHOCK!!!!

Flash wont sync with 60d (tried several at dealer) Problem is the flash - not the camera

Try mounting the flash on your camera, turn both on and reset your camera to factory default settings through your camera menu settings. It might work for you as it has for me in the past.

Wont connect to internet

You need to reset the router if the lights are flashing. Press the reset button at the back of the router for about 20 seconds then release it. Now unplug the power for 20 mins as well and plug it back in. Make sure your connection is right. PC connected to port 1 and modem to WAN or Internet port.

Error "Err05" keeps initiating preventing flash operating

There are two versions of this problem: 1. The flash does not pop-up. 2. The flash does pop-up.

Here’s the fix to the err05 msg when the flash does pop-up. This will work on the XTi and perhaps on similar Canon cameras:

The pop-up flash has two legs. Look at the pivot point of the right leg (”right” when looking into the lens). Just in front of the pivot is a very small spring-load pin on the “roof” of the camera body.
This pin is the sensor that tells the camera the state of the flash. The pin is pushed down when the pop-up flash is closed and is suppose to quickly spring up when the flash is opened. Problem is, the pin sometimes gets dirty and drags. When it is slow to spring up … you get the err05 message.

Fix: Take a small jeweler’s screwdriver and dip the tip in isopropyl alcohol. (Don’t use any other solvent unless it’s designed for cleaning electronic parts!) Then touch the screwdriver tip to the pin. Do this several times until the pin area is nicely wet. Then push the pin up and down until it is able to spring up quickly.

Enjoy.

Pop-Up flash - Rebel xti

You will need to send the camera for servicing. There's a lever mechanism inside the flash unit which is responsible for popping up the flash. Since it is a mechanical device, it is sometimes prone to failure. I suggest not to put manual pressure to force the flash to come out, as it may cause permanent damage. Instead, send the camera for service.
