Indeed this problem can make you go crazy. sinply do the following
1. use the remote and go to projector settings
2. chose power option and set it to high
3. look foe sleep mode option
4. set it to OFF
and you are all done !

1,Check the fans ,whether the fan is running,when you turn on the projector
2,if the fans run, then ,check the lamp or lamp ballast
