Unplug the unit and as you plug it back in start pressing the eject button in one second intervals as it powers up. This should command it to eject before it tries to read the disc.

I cant insert a CD into my Bose Wave Music System. I think there is a CD stuck there. How do I get it out?

It is very difficult to remove a stuck disc and may require removal of the cabinet to get inside the works. Best to take it to a qualified service shop where they can do it for you.

A CD is stuck in my bose system How do I get it out?

From an other web site

If you have a cd or two stuck in your Bose wave radio, here's how to remove it and save yourself $99. This procedure is for the radio (model AWRCC1 or similar) with a single front loading cd slot.

PART I
1. First unplug the power, wait a minute, and then replug power, watching the front display.
2. The display will read "Ejecting". If the cd ejects, then you're done and can skip Part II. If it doesn't eject and/or it displays "Disk error" then you'll need to do the Part II steps.

PART II
1. Unplug the power cord.
2. Turn the radio upside down with the front facing you.
3. Remove the 5 screws from the bottom plate.
4. Hinge the front of the bottom plate up no more than 2". Don't overdo this or you'll damage various ribbon cables inside. Use extra hands or a prop to keep it open this amount.
5. Reach inside and tilt-up the front of cd player's metal housing just enough to access the rims of the cd(s) within the space created in step 4.
6. Pinch the rim(s) of the cd(s) and gently pull it/them out.
7. Reverse these steps to reassemble your radio.

Enjoy your cd player again!

Hello I have a Bose Wave music system-single cd capacity and a cd is stuck in it-I kept pressing "eject" as it was saying "disc error" it now says "no disc" even though the cd...

The Bose Wave System is top of the line and deserves a specialist, the Bose service department does all the repairs on their own products and carry the parts to implement such repairs. They do not authorize any other repair facilities to work on their items. I suggest you get in touch with them to assess your Bose Wave Music System.

My bose cd player won't take a cd now and play it but the radio works fine. There doesn't seems to be any disc inside. The display says no disc.

It looks like this is a Wave Music System. (Front, slot-loading CD drive? About 4 inches tall?)You could try a basic reset. Just unplug it from power for about 30-40 seconds. When you plug it back in, it should try to 'force-eject' anything that could be stuck inside. Otherwise, try another CD after the reset to see if it pulls it in and it plays. If that doesn't work, you could try flipping it upside down and pressing eject. (a roller could be stuck on something)
Let me know if this helps.

A disc is in the Bose Wave system and will not play or eject

Unplug the system. Turn the entire unit upside down. The CDs will eject. After I tried this (found it online somewhere), it worked fine for about 2 months. Now it suddenly turns on by itself and ejects CDs (creepy). But at least the original problem was solved.

CD stuck in BOSE 3 disk stack player

I had the same problem and went to the Bose Tech Support site and found this solution. It allowed me to eject the stuck CD. The same problem happened again when I tried to enter another CD but after repeating the process below the CD ejected again and after that it worked fine.
Hope it works for you.
  • Try performing a reset with your Wave® music system upside down:
    1. Unplug the system, flip it upside down, place it on a firm, level surface, then plug it back in again

    2. If the CD ejects when you do this, the system may need to be serviced. Contact Bose® Technical Support or call 1-800-278-1281
