Question about Epson Stylus Pro 4800 InkJet Printer
We are having a problem with a new Epson 4800 printer. We are using cut sheet 8.5x11 Photo paper from epson and about every 3rd or 4th sheet the printer will load the paper and then act like it has not been loaded. The only way to clear the problem is to turn off the printer and then kill the printing document and restart. This is our 2nd printer and still the problem exists. Any ideas
Here are some things to try. Place no more that 15-20 sheets in the printer, ensure they are fully to the right of the carriage and the paper is held securely on the left. You may wish to 'fan' the paper to ensure it will flow freely.

Tips for a great answer:
this many sheets
Epson Bright White Paper
Epson Presentation Paper Matte
Epson Photo Paper Glossy
Epson Premium Photo Paper Glossy
Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper Glossy
Epson Premium Photo Paper Semi-gloss
Epson Premium Presentation Paper
Epson Premium Presentation Paper Matte Double-Sided

If the paper jams, do
1. Gently pull any jammed paper out from the output
tray or sheet feeder.
2. To eject the jammed paper, try turning the Epson
Stylus NX400 off and then back on.
If that doesn't work and paper is stuck inside, turn off the Epson Stylus NX400. Open the scanner, remove the jammed paper and torn pieces, close the scanner, and turn the Epson Stylus NX400 back on.
