BOOT MGR File is missing CTRL ALT delete to restart computer

This can happen for several reasons, hard drive failure, deletion of a needed file, format the hard drive, removal of a hard drive, or virus causing corruption on the hard drive. Without knowing which of these it is, it would be very difficult to tell you how to fix it.

Device shows hard drive corrupt

If so you will need to format the drive to clear all the corrupt files and then reinstall.
Unless you can clean the corrupt files one by one and ensuring that the saved documents files are not deleted.

I downloaded a hard drive deletion piece of software on to my pc so i could wipe a laptop i am selling. on restart it shows up as an operating system and windows xp wont start. it gives me blue screen...

I think the software has made your window files corrupt or it has deleted the window files. To solve this problem, I think you need to do a fresh windows installation. In the process of the installation, you could save the files on your hard drive, that is if they are still there.

Best wishes.

Says corrupt game files; wont let me play

Hmm... You've already deleted everything and re-loaded it, correct? Did you also wipe the "saved game" memory? The bad file could be in the PS3's internal memory card. So, you'll have to wipe that. If this is still not working, you may have to reformat you entire console. I know that really sucks, but it MAY have to be done as a last resort. In the settings menu, there's a place that says "format hard drive". If you try to "back up" your memory on to a memory stick, I'd recommend against it. Because you might just be putting the corrupted file back into the hard drive! Let me know what you decide to do, bro. Maybe I can be of more help down the line. Good luck, Dempsey!

Corrupt file

You can't view the corrupt file it is too corrupt. Even if you download it to your computer, no program will be able to read it to do anything useful to it. Just Delete it.
