I BOUGHT A KP-57HW40 SONY, WAS WORKING FINE MY SON BUMPED INTO THE BASE AND ALL I CAN SEE IS A GREEN SCREEN AND THEN IT TURNS OFF AND STAND BY LIGHT FLASHES 8 TIMES.. iS IT WORTH FIXING CAN I DO IT MYSELF OR WHAT WILL IT COST???

These sets have weak picture tubes, this may buy you some time. It is not worth changing the tubes in the set. The cost would be more then its worth. Try these adjustments until it completely dies. I have the same set.
