Does this happen to all of your games or to few of the games you just had? If this is the first time that you encountered this problem, and you have opened the same games before, try turning off (long pressing the switch) your PSP. After turning it off, remove the Memory Stick slowly, after few seconds, put it back and switch on the PSP. try your games if it worked again. If it doesn't, consider firmware update. If it's CFW, consider re-installing the same CFW or upgrading it to a newer one. Be careful with CFW though, or you may brick your PSP.
The problem is with your memory stick dou that causes your PSP to hang up and reboot. I bet your using a fake memory stick duo and your PSP is not stable. Please make sure that your memory stick is seagate supported. You can check that by simply going to your memory stick information. Your games are not deleted. The game is still on your memory stick, you just need to run again your PSP custom firmware and your enabler. To permanently resolve this, you need to buy a genuine Sony memory stick dou and then run again your PSP custom firmware and your enabler. Hi! I incounter this problem as well even without UMD its still loading and even I disable auto-start UMD still same so I tried reflashing the software but still same problem so I discover the solution before you turn-on your PSP try to open your UMD cover you'll see it will load faster then close again the cover once you see the battery and clock icon... The problem that causing this is the switch inside the UMD possible its stock-up or spoiled already!
try going to recovery menu of ur psp..try changing ur cpu speed to the 330..done it for 10 psp's who had the same problem...totally turn off your psp and then turn it on again while holding R button.. dont chage anything else in the setting besides the cpu speed or you will break it...
