Where can i find the software to download pictures, c-2100 uz

I bought the camera used, it came with everything but the card adapter and the cd to use the usb. Tried the Olympus website for a download but I could only find updates. I have windows xp.

I called Olympus, this link that you sent is for a download that is needed to use a card reader. The software that was on the disk that came with the camera is required for me to download with the USB cable straight from the camera. Olympus no longer offers the disk, or a download of this software. This is the information that I was looking for. Does anyone offer a 'bootleg' copy of this type of information???

Software olympus sp-560uz camerarequired

You don't need any special software.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Cannot download pictures to DVD

The software with your camera is designed to get your pictures and videos from the camera to your computer. If you want to burn a DVD then you'll have to use DVD mastering software, which you should have gotten with the DVD recorder.

I CAN NOT TRANSFER PICTURES FROM MY OLYMPUS CAMEDIA ULTRA ZOOM C2100 TO MY NEW PC, BECAUSE I LOST MY SOFTWARE CD.

You can always use a separate card reader instead of the camera for downloading pics. Then, you don't need any special software. typrice_19.jpg

Camera automatically asks to format or turn off. I just bought the XD memory card to use in my camera (OLYMPUS 550 UZ). I had the camera power on and proceeded to put the memory card in while the device...

Never insert or remove a card while the camera is on. You can try to download the pics on the card to your computer using a separate card reader. Then, format the card in the camera.

How do u retrieve photos that have been saved on camera(sp-550 uz)memory not a picture card

With the camera's power off, remove the memory card.

Turn on the camera's power.

Retrieve the photos, as you ordinarily would do, were the memory card still in the camera. If you have the USB cable connected, then you can move the photos to your PC's hard drive, using either the camera's software, or Windows Explorer.

Camera fell in the river with me, pics in memory card won't open

Hi - first make sure the contacts of the memory card are clean. Try cleaning with a cotton bud soaked in alcohol then lightly polish with an eraser, the pencil type with the hard white rubber are best.
Then try reading the card again.

Next, if you are comfortable with using a PC then you can download a FREE utility that will recover your photos from the following link:

http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec

If you need something a little more "user friendly" then you will need to buy the software. If you search the web for photo recovery software you will find many.
One I have used successfully is RescuePro that used to be bundled with some Sandisk products. Now you can get it from the link below:

http://www.lc-tech.com/software/prwindetail.html

You can try the demo to see what you can recover before buying.

Remember - Do NOT try & write anything back to the card until you can recover your pictures to your PC safely!

Please take a moment to rate this solution & let us know if the information given was useful to you – Good Luck!

I want to upload pictures from my camera to the computer nikon coolpix 2100

You must have a software in your computer to read the pictures. It can be kodak easy share, hp photo smart, or any photosmart software. This softwares might be available in the brands website for free.
Your computer needs a photo program to upload your pictures.

One easy way is to go to a store with photo service and have your camera card pictures put on a CD. This CD usually brings photo programs sofware and you will be able to use them next time from your camera into the program then into the computer.
