    If you want to open front of machine there are two clips under front lip abut 2-3 inch in from sides.

    just slide a putty knife into the crack and lid will pop up allowing you to undo screws.

Need wiring diagram for a Maytag washing machine . Model #LAT9306AAE
That information is found in your form guide. It's generally located in a waterproof bag affixed to the inside wall of the washer. You need to open the the top to gain access to it. Locate two spring loaded clips approx. 6 inches in on either side between the top and bottom of the machine with a 2 inch putty knife/scraper. Once located, take the putty knife out and push in and up on the clip. I use a wood wedge to hold it up until I release the clip from the other side. The back of the machine top has a hinge so don't put it back too far. The bag should be on the left side. Just push the rubber seal on the top back a bit. If the bag is empty due to a previous repair, it maybe located under the back panel. Remember to always unplug the machine before you attempt any repairs.

I don't know if you have checked this, but Maytag often fastens a copy of the wiring diagram to the back of their machines. You usually have to pay for a full repair manual from a parts supplier.

Code f24 comes up on mhwz2600tw00 and I changed user interface , mico computer machine control and door latch. Machine will come on with door open but when I shut door machine will not come on.
I removed back from washer and found wire broke .I also found packet with all codes and wire diagram. Repaired wire and washer works fine. I have had this washer for 2 years and the back has never been removed until this time. I think when washer was assembled wire was pinched and during all the washing in 2 years vibration finally finished breaking wire. All tech. from Maytag can't or want tell you anything about their machines. All they want to do is swap out parts and charge a arm and leg for thei service. You are wasting your time to even call Maytag for tech. support. They don't know anything about codes or anything else. If all applinces go out, refg.,dryer.washer.mico.,range, it want be replaced with another maytag.
