If you were upgrading at the time it seems like you may have corrupted the firmware, This is known as Bricking your PSP (as it becomes about as useful as a brick). The only way I know of unbricking is to get hold of a pandora's battery (Battery service mode init and Firmware loaded onto a memstick) see hope this helps

How exactly is a youtube downloader supposed to help us with error codes on our psp? Seriously! Did you even read the question, or do you just like to post random shit? Baka!

@ Pat_Pet

Good, you are running Dark_Alex's m-33. The best CFW out there :) This may help... it worked when I had trouble with my Soul Calibur Broken Destiny.

enter recovery menu>advanced, and format flash1 and reset settings.

Hope this helps :)

PSP Slim will hang or freeze after sony logo... at wavy background... have tried formatted flash1 ==> no help... any solutions???

You've bricked your PSP if you formatted the flash. You should have updated the firmware instead. If you have a old PSP Slim, you can use Pandora's battery to recover it.

When I Download Something And I Try To Play It, It Says "That this game cannot be started the data is corrupted"

Try these
1) Formatted memory stick (backed up what I wanted).
2) Copied Popsloader V2 (seplugins folder) back to the memory card (root)
3) Reset PSP and entered "Recovery Menu", Then nav to "advance" and formatted "flash1
4) Next enabled "Popsloader" under "Plugins" then exit menu.
5) Copied PSX Eboot to Game directory.
6) Viola it worked!

pls rate my suggestion....

Psp turns on, but no screen just black, also I dont hear anything

You might have a brick psp, you need to reflashing your psp.. If you have Custom firmware installed e.g. M33, you can try this first;

try to boot your psp to recovery menu, ( hold R-trigger when turn on your psp), you should see M33 recovery menu, then select "advance" then "Format flash1 and reset setting", if it does not work you need pandora battery for unbricking your psp. or you may consider to sending it back to Sony for repair. You can call SONY support at 1-800-345-7669.

Hopefully this help.! Pls post back should you need additional information, and also Show your Appreciation, to help other USER.

No display problem

You might have the broken LCD.. If you not sure, try to boot under recovery menu - (if you have custom firmware installed). if the problem come from corrupted firmware you should see the menu of recovery.. then goto menu "Advance" > "Format flash1 and reset setting". otherwise you may consider sending it back to Sony for repair. You can call SONY support at 1-800-345-7669.

hopefully this help.! Pls post back should you need additional information, and also Show your Appreciation, to help other USER.

Psp not recognising game discs

The operating system is in the flasho and flash1 you wud not see it by merely connecting usb. If its not a lens problem or board, den I believe u shud check the umds because they are very sensitive and get scratched easily
