Re: psp 3.52m33-4 hang....
If you were upgrading at the time it seems like you may have corrupted the firmware,
This is known as Bricking your PSP (as it becomes about as useful as a brick).
The only way I know of unbricking is to get hold of a pandora's battery (Battery service mode init and Firmware loaded onto a memstick)
hope this helps

1) Formatted memory stick (backed up what I wanted). 2) Copied Popsloader V2 (seplugins folder) back to the memory card (root) 3) Reset PSP and entered "Recovery Menu", Then nav to "advance" and formatted "flash1 4) Next enabled "Popsloader" under "Plugins" then exit menu. 5) Copied PSX Eboot to Game directory. 6) Viola it worked! pls rate my suggestion....
You might have a brick psp, you need to reflashing your psp.. If you have Custom firmware installed e.g. M33, you can try this first;
try to boot your psp to recovery menu, ( hold R-trigger when turn on your psp), you should see M33 recovery menu, then select "advance" then "Format flash1 and reset setting", if it does not work you need pandora battery for unbricking your psp. or you may consider to sending it back to Sony for repair.You can call SONY support at 1-800-345-7669.
Hopefully this help.! Pls post back should you need additional information, and also Show your Appreciation, to help other USER.

The operating system is in the flasho and flash1 you wud not see it by merely connecting usb. If its not a lens problem or board, den I believe u shud check the umds because they are very sensitive and get scratched easily
