PFAFF expression 2034 Instruction Manual
(this is for a 2034 but is probably close enough to your machine to be useful. Usually, there is a very slight different between models, that most often just entails a few extra features or decorative stitches.)
Several people before you have tried and tried to obtain this document and sadly i dont see any technical support from royal regarding this product and so thusly, the existence of a digital manual does not exist. If you go to royals website and look at the manual for the dm 7000, they most likely adopted a similar structure of use for their newer devices. But even for that product there is no real manual.
You can try and navigate through the device and hopefully find a help section as most devices that are this difficult to operate require some training on how to use them.
I also have a Royal dm80 personal organizer that has no batteries. I need the numbers off the batteries so I can get mine to work. I would be happy to mail you a copy of my instruction book if you could tell me the type of batteries I need to buy. thanks. keokih/
Rule of thumb.. Loops on the bottom, problem on the top. Loops on the top, problems on the bottom.
Set your upper tension at 4, and rethread the machine from the top. Just before you thread the needle, but the presser foot down. If the thread pulls right thru easily, then the thread is not thru the tension wheel right. Because, if you can't pull the thread thru with the presser foot down, you have it threaded right.
