Samsung SGH-G600 I bought the phone from ebay.It was locked with vodaphone. I unlocked it, and it works fine with virginmedia sim not with O2 sim. What to do Thanks Raghav

    I have had my SGH-G600 unlocked to all networks but it won't work with O2.

    my g600 was Vodafone. Unlocked. On O2 it gets service then drops it again. I tried *2767*3855# which seemed to work but fault returned. Other web sites say need to flash upgrade to manufacturers software - unbrand the phone. Haven't found out where to do it but net advertises it for 20-30 quid. Does this sound right or a waste of money or risky to phone?

Ive just purchased a g600 from ebay originaly on orange network but want to swap it to 3 network is this possible and how.please someone help

All 02 handsets are unlocked alredy. It will just have the o2 software on it :)

Sounds like its using a tmobile / virgin firm ware try to get a universal firmware

I have just tried it with my new locked to orange g600 and it works fine on all networks.

1-Turn on the phone without sim card .

5-Unlock your phone with new SP code #7465625*638*00000000#
6-Enjoy G600 unlocked
if it doesn't work after step 3.. try changing the 'non-accepted' sim card that ur putting in..
eg if you are locked to vodafone and you try this method and use an orange sim card and it doesn't work, try using a o2 sim or even virgin :)

Phone lock needs unlocking - samsung g600
switch the phone on without a sim card,
type in *2767*2878# WAIT for it to reset,
once it boots up itself, the phone code is now gone,
if the phone is asking for a SIM LOCK password
then send it to someone who has the equipment to unlock it
