Samsung monitor randomly flashes black

My brand new out of the box samsung monitor randomly goes black for ~.5-1 sec and comes back. I'm running it w/ a Mac Mini 1.25Ghz. Checked the frequency, looks fine. Anybody?

I have a samsung SM-2232BW and it goes blank................for a few seconds and the returns to the normal screen while playing video games

Presumably, it has a "warranty".

So, take it back to where you bought it, and demonstrate the problem to them, and make them repair/replace it, under warranty.

I have repeared some of this problems ,try this:
hold the power button and plug in ac power.and wait 5-6 sec.
try the combinations with power and menu buttons and plug the ac cord and wait 5-6 sec.
The monitor in your case is in service mode or test mode .
The other options is to change the firmweare of the monitor but you need moore tools for that.

Samsung SyncMaster 512N 15 inch LCD - display suddenly goes black after approx. 15 minutes of use, unprompted. It is being used with a brand new Mac Mini; display is approx. 5 years old.

go to control panel then power option then change setting to TURN OF DISPLAY "NEVER"

When I play some games on my syncmaster 215tw, the screen goes black after 5 minutes. I have to reboot everytime to get the screen back on. The blue light flashes but i cant do nothing until i reboot....

that means your VGA is not big enough to run the game.This problem is not from the monitor but your system.I suggest an upgrade in your system to enhance better performance.

Samsung aircon turns in 5 sec. lights green/yellow flashing

check capacitor on outside unit,or gas is leaking.

Laptop monitor goes black

If you're working on the computer when that happens, it's not probably a power setting. Try to update your BIOS to the most current version at the toshiba support website (support.toshiba.com) & see what happens. Fixes the issue most of the time

did you try to use this monitor in another pc? if its doing the same thing, you probably have a defective monitor.

Using a monitor
1..connect computer/media center to your monitor,
2 click on nvidia nview display settings,
3, select the current display tab and samsung,
4 then apply,
5,then when the confirmation box appears click yes within 15 seconds.

Using your samsung.
Attach a scart to your media centre, from your t.v with the p.c cable still attached, turn over using the source button until you can see a pc picture on your screen (EXT1or2), do steps 2 & 3 THEN move your cursor to the apply button (do not move the cursor from this position), press your source button till you get PC channel (which has no picture yet) then press your mouse button to apply, ( your picture will flicker on), and before the picture goes confirm with the yes button. You now have light! eureka :)

Dxlb-19 screen adjustment My monitor has worked perfectly for years but has now started flashing up the on screen adjustment main menu panel. But I can't do anything with it as it disappears again just as quickly and I can't remember what the four silver buttons to the left of the identical power on/off button do. It disappears too quickly for me to do anything effective. Help please. Shows how poor my eyesight is just noticed the icons under the button ... 1 down up 2 power :-)
