If you take apart the pump mechanism you will see a little black o ring that has dried out either Reuben or replace and add a little oil to the mechanism to keep lubed and it will work fine.

Honda 4000 motor runs great, pump not preasuring up water changed pump and no change, shaft from motor into pump was good felt like it was under compression but still no preasure

The pressure relief valve could be stuck open or faulty. The check valves may be stuck or plugged up. Try thoroughly clean these parts and see if that helps.

Replaced injector pump and fuel filter still starts hard

system may be bleeding down thru leaky injectors. Try turning ignition on and off several times before cranking. This will help the pump pressurize the system. If this works, you know your system is bleeding down. Let me know if you have questions.

Engine cranks 6 to 9 times before will start on my 1999 sunfire, 2.2litre. Has about 263,000 miles on it and runs smooth as silk after starting.

I would start with the fuelpump, put a gauge on the feul line then start car and shut down, then watch to see if preasure drops, you may have a bad pump that drains down after shut down, then take a while to build preasure back up, start with this test first. hope this helps.

My '99 Wrangler Sport used to start on the 1st couple cranks. Now it takes about 20 cranks or i can turn the key off and on a few timeswithout cranking the engine and then it will start. This is only when...

You are correct. the fuel system is loosing preasure while sitting and then it takes time for it to build back up, you will not smell the fuel because its the preasure regulator valve in the fuel pump, so it just drain back into the tank, this is common on chry, and jeeps. the preasure regulator in the pump is bad, you will need to replace the pump asm. this will solve your starting problem, hope this is helpful.

NO PREASURE

Most likely the impeller is clogged, or there is a blockage on suction side of pump/plumbing. Is the basket clean? You may also have an air leak. If the pipe coming into the pump, or the pump lid not sealed, or if a leak at a union, or valve coming into the pump is allowing air in, then the pump may not prime or move much water

Replaced al of the valves but still will not operate on high preasure. Will build to high preasure only for a couple of seconds then back to low preasure.

your bypass pressure valve is weak and needs replacing, its letting water pressure bypass the pump going to the pressure gun

Was working fine started blowing hot air has freion pump is going on and off

the system will have a small leak, the pump you are ref. to is the compressor and if the preasure in the system drops below the low preasure shut down level. the compressor will shut off to provent damage to the compressor and pumping out any more refrigerant in to the air.

Leaking at pressure side of connection

What are we talking about? Preasure side of AC compressor pump? Power steering pump?
If AC, then possibly from a leaking AC-high preasure switch on the back of the compressor. The leak could be simply the O-ring. You simply unscrew it and install the replacement making sure the O-ring is good and in place. The switch can leak also. This part is hard to find accept at the dealer. It has a 4-wire connector on it.
