One way is to buy some thin gauge aluminium sheet and cut and bend. Cheap, and gives a sense of achievement if you like that kind of thing

Timer keeps sticking - is there anything i can do to repair or replace?

Your best bet is to buy a new timer on ebay there is only one parts guy for dualit in the US and
his parts are more expensive then buying and shipping from England. Its a common problem
with dualit and the replacement timers seem to be a little better made. Time will tell

Dualit, Model 4 BRP/84 The model # may have changed since our unit was purchased. The time switch slips. We think this needs to be replaced and would like to find the part. Can you help?

With dualit all parts can fit the same for all models, tiemr swichs, elements e.t.a. dont worry

The centre element in my 4 slice model has gone. Can this be replaced?

Don't know if you can get the heating element as separate part. But, this can probably be repaired. It's likely either a burned connection/connector or the heating element is broken.

Bad connectors can be replaced, the heating element can be just twisted back together where it is broken.

Buy and fit a new timer switch.6 screws to remove bottom cover, pull the knob off and 2 screws hidden by the knob will be revealed, these hold the timer in. Make sure you put the wires onto the new switch in the same place you took them from.
