We have had the Oster BVSTEM6601R for about 6 months now & are really pleased with it except that it has now stopped picking up the milk. When trying to brew a double latte the machine is delivering about 60ml of milk. We've cleaned it regularly & descaled it even though we're in a soft water area. A Davis

When you say change Oring do you mean the Oring in the capp. or in the machine?

The pic is clogged with coffee or the air bladder is bad. Use the tool on the underside of the tray to clean out pic. If that doesn't work, the bladder will be bad.

its possible someone held the buttons down to long enabling program mode.

Go to your local market and purchase a 3 ounce measuring glass. Place it where you place your coffee cup and hold down the small button, it should enable program mode. Stop it once it reaches 1 ounce or your desired amount.

Do the same for the large.

Here's what I did... with great success:
If you've cleaned all the milk deposits from around the o rings and you still have a problem then its almost certainly the milk spout (the little pipe that directs foamy milk into your cup)

Detatch the spout and get a 2.5 mm drill bit and use it to clean all the milk deposits out of the part that plugs into the lid. Rinse through with water to clean away all the bits of hard milk.

[If you put water through the spout before and after, you will notice a dramatic difference]

Doing this completely fixed the problem for me (I had about 3 years of milk build up in mine!).

add a cup full of distilled vinegar and let set overnight.
then turn it on the next morning
this will remove all heavy scaling that has trapped the water from not brewing
