Need Windows 98 drivers for Samsung 1640 Printer

I have windows 98 installed on my system and I bought Samsung 1640 printer. I think the software it comes with doesnt support 98, Any help to get 98 supported drivers?

Go to http://www.samsung.com/ph/support/detail/supportPrdDetail.do?menu=SP01&prd_ia_cd=06010400&prd_mdl_cd=&prd_mdl_name=ML-1640 and click DRIVER. Opposite your operating system and under the heading FILE click the icon. This will download the driver. Be sure to select the correct operating system particularly whether you have 64 bit or 32 bit windows. Most home versions are 32 bit.

Unable to load drivers of samsung 1640
make sure in system windows installer service is running.to check it is running or not ,in run window type services.msc and the go to windows installer option .if it is stop then restart it and then try again.
to install the printer follow this steps,
Don’t connect the printer usb cable first
1st you install the driver disc which is come along with the printer and when the software prompt you to connect the cable then plug the usb cable and follow the instruction.
if you facing the problem follow these steps, right click on my computer and go to properties then hardware in that click on device manger and check there is any other device is listed if it is there just remove it and click for scan for hardware changes when he prompt for driver reinstall the driver cd.

Windows 98 is not compatible with your new printer driver. You have to upgrade your operating system to at Windows XP.

How can i install a canon ip 1900 in windows 98?
Try going to the Canon website and download your software. ( http://software.canon-europe.com/products/0010647.asp )

Uninstall any software that you may already have install for the Canon by going to ' add & remove programs ', uninstall your canon printer by going to ' printers & faxes, disconnect your Canon printer from your computer.

Reboot your computer.

Install the Canon printer software that you downloaded.

Hook up your Canon printer to your computer.

The software should install automatically. If not, re-install the software you downloaded.
