There is no installation CD for this machine. The machine sends, receives and copies. The machine will not connect to a computer and does not need a CD to perform it's functions. Years ago Brother had a 770 which is the father of 775 that connected to a computer by purchasing software and a cable(PCI-1). This software is outdated and does not work well with any of the current windows programs. Most Brother ink-jet and laser products will connect to a computer via an installation CD or down loading the drivers from Brother.com. None of their thermal machines will connect to a computer.

Brother intellifax 775 w/no manuel

1-change the connection between the machine and the outlet with a new one and install it firmly in the machine and the phone outlet.
2-invert the wires in the outlet.
3-put line noise filter between phone line and fax.(you can get it from radio shack).
4-if all above does not work you have to call phone company for help.
