Question about Olympus FE-370 Digital Camera
Nephew dropped my 230 - oh y, is 370 comparable. Emailed Olympus, but no response. thank you
The 370 is a much better camera, giving you higher resolution images AND a 5x zoom, over the 230's 3x zoom.
The 370 also has a very effective optical image stabilizer, while the 230 has no image stabilizer.
They BOTH have what Olympus calls "digital image stabilization", something Olympus cooked up to be able to say they were employing image stabilization, back when they were so seriously lagging behind the competition in such a feature. It is merely the automatic adjustment of settings (at the expense of image quality) to snap a faster picture in order to defeat camera shake and subject motion.
The 370 has a mechanical optical sensor-shift stabilizer that really works!
The 370 is a far better camera!
