When opening a Microsoft Office program or file you may get a message that says “Office Application Version Does Not Match Error”. This is most likely caused by having the Outlook 2007 Business Contact Manager installed on your computer. Many computers that come with the Office trial program installed will have this on their computer from when it was new.
There are a couple of ways to get rid of this error. First you can install the
update from Microsoft that gets rid of the error.
Or you can go into Add and Remove Programs (XP) or Programs and Features (Vista) and uninstall the Outlook 2007 Business Contact Manager if you don ’t use it. It won’t affect any of your Office programs. You may get a message during the uninstall process that it can’t remove it from your Outlook profile but just click Ok and finish the uninstall.

Bit of an odd one this error message. It is issued when you start Microsoft Word 2007 (or indeed Excel 2007,
PowerPoint 2007 or Publisher 2007) on a computer that has Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 with Business Contact
Manager installed. You can download a a patch that will stop this error message appearing
here.
Hope this will solve your problem
