Blaupunkt mp3 cd error on home burnt cd-r's

I have a "blaupunkt brighton mp35" car head unit, which supports mp3.I can play cd's bought from stores(not necessarily original), but when i burn cd's at home and play them, it just says CD ERROR.I tried many ways, and many cd blanks, and even many softwares.Nothing works.Pleasee Help.

i have tried puttin the files both in the root, and in folders.Neither worked :( .The lowest speed my writer shows is 4x . I've tried 4x, 10x, 12x and 24x. A certain cd that i bought from a store is of "IMATION" brand, and another is a local "SAMURAI" brand.These are the only 2 that have worked so far.I have used Sony, Samsung, Eurovision,Moser Baer, etc. Nothing that i have burnt has worked yet..Strange..The lens is definitely okay..

have you put all mp3's on the root of the cd. Have you burned it at 2x, slowly? Have you used memorex or tdk media?

first off, try a real store bought, CDDA, disk
not mp3, or other burnt disks.
old cars only play CCDA, and not much else.
try to be more clear
that are vast numbers of round disks.
CDDA.
CDR burnt to CDDA format
CDR bunt to MP3 or like 10 other formats all hopeless.
DVDR burnt to MP3, ditto....
see?
the owner guide, also tells you what it plays be that OEM original or aftermarket upgrades.
why not post a photo of the head end,
if still original it has a 3 letter jeep code there. on the face.

I am looking for a face plate for the key west mp35 because my car had been broken into and the face plate stolen,i am trying not to replace the unit.

for the price of a face, you are probably better off buying a new radio.

Problem for Blaupunkt Bermuda MP36 Car CD Player. I was getting the error CD error when I use to insert the mp3 cd in the CD player. I complained and was asked to reset it by disconnecting the battery...

The fault was explained earlier, please check your MP3 format. play a normal cd to see if it detects, if so try with another recognised MP3. if not clean your head after opening the set. try again or it is possible that your optical is faulty or the RF signal processor IC is defective. Check this out. Good day

I have bought a 3 audio cd box set for my blaupunkt santa cruz cd player and it wont play any of the discs it just says 'CD ERROR' all other cds work fine.

There is obvioulsy and incompatability problem with the type of CDR that the cd's are and your head unit, Try making a backup copy of the CD's and try them in the player. This should resolve your problem

When yuo put a cd in the cd player it reads error 11 what is error 11 and how do you fix it?

Some Head units (cd players) dont like to play burnt discs. I love pioneer (deh-p6000ub)and that is all I use for head units, and sometimes, depending on how you burn the, they wont play. Make sure to use windows media player to burn your files, that might help. If you are using regular store bought cds, then you might need a new head unit, it might be an internal problem.

Try head cleaning. These things get a real beating, cars vibrate a lot, and potholes does no justice to anything. There is a chance it is on its way out. I bought a 400 dollar pioneer, and it broke after 3 months! I couldn't get it repaired because i lost the receipt. Lat time i buy from best buy, or pioneer...

I have bought a kenwood kdc-241 car stereo i have downloaded my mp3 s onto cd-r (about 60 of them)when i put it into car stereo they play but no sound comes from the system (the radio sound is working also...

Hi i have just looked up your stereo and that kenwood doesnt support mp3 playback.
Unlucky mate.

PHONE disply on our player

another suggestion, I am not sure if you can do it (pull the head unite out) , but there is a Phone wire. (not sure of the color i think its either white or green) on the back of the head unit. if this is a naked wire (since you bought the car used it may be) and it grounds it will cause the player to go into phone mute mode>> check that out and tape up the wire if its exposed.
