I have a GE profile gas range model JGBP79WEA1WW/ serialLT236951P. the gas is going to the burners and i can see and hear the igniter clicking. sometimes the burner goes on sometimes it does not ignite. Oven I turned on and I see a glow it registers 100 degrees and then I smell alot of gas. HELP!

If it is a ge it would have a glow bar ignitor, either a flat rectangle shaped or a round ignitor. That is want the problem is 95% of the time. It is pretty easy to do. The floor of the stove will come right out and it probably has two screws in the back corners you can see. Remove them and the floor will lift out and you can see the burner and the ignitor.

could be a bad thermostat but it sounds most likely like a loose wire connection somewhere. if the coil comes on and doesnt quite glow as bright as it should, the glow coil needs replacing.
