2) Install the driver and reconnect your phone via USB.

3) On your phone's status bar, choose the option "connect as a media device" to make sure the pc can now see the phone.

4) Disconnect the phone from the pc.

5) Now, to connect the phone as modem, reconnect your phone to the pc via USB.

6) Go to your android phone's settings, choose "wireless and networks, then "more," then "tethering & portable hotspot."

7) Check the box that says "USB Tethering."

SOURCE: DOWNLOAD PHOTOS FROM LG PHONE TO PC VIA USB CABLE

You have to have an SD card and also a port for your computer to read SD Cards. You could send them through pic message but that takes awhile. Good luck.

SOURCE: cell phone (LG KP199) to PC (Win XP) USB data transfer problem

When you connect your phone to the PC, it shows two options for connecting: Mass Storage and Cell phone. Select mass storage.

For connecting in Cell phone mode you need to have the PC Suite for this model which as on date is not available.

You can use any third party softwares like mobimb, Mobtime Cellphone manager etc. for connecting to PC.

My Acer laptop will not boot up.

You may have a corrupted video driver due to an update. For some Acers, press and hold F10 when starting the computer. Two beeps will mean that the bios settings have been restored and the machine may boot correctly. If you can enter the BIOS via F2, F1, F10, ESC or DEL, then find the area for display and change it to low resolution then save and restart your computer. Once running, you will need to uninstall the current video driver and have the computer install a new one.

Hi, I've always been able to connect my Canon MV4i MC camcorder to my computer (Windows XP) via the Firewire port. However, I've just bought a new computer (Windows 7) which has no Firewire port....

Why have you bought a 'new' computer with such an outdated operating system ? Have you an available expansion slot on the motherboard to install a Firewire card ?
