You can't just joina forum you must first downgrade your PSP to Firmware which runs the risk of bricking your PSP if not done right if not followed properly or poor luck. Then from there you download games onto your memory card, I would suggest a 1 gig or higher and play the game directly off the memory card with a UMD game in the PSP. The highest version of firmware I believe is 3.51 if your system is higher than that you cannot downgrade.

You can't really download "free games" for your PSP Slim. However, you can run "homebrew" on it which will allow you to run unofficial game code and applications. More information about the homebrew development program can be found at http://www.psp-hacks.com/.

The only way to get downloaded PSP games to work is to have custom firmware. Custom Firmware also dont brick your PSP unless you interrupt your PSP while upgrading your PSP.
