Question about HP DeskJet 5652 InkJet Printer
My printer HP deskjet 5652 does'nt have power, if i switch on. i've check the power adapter of the printer and the cord, they are all ok. maybe the problem is in the power of printer, maybe the fuse (if there is) or some ic disorder. But the real problem is i can't open the unit, can u give manuals or instruction how to dismantle this printer so that i can check ic's, fuse etc.... if they are functioning. Hoping for immediate action.. Thank in advance and God Bless
Undo the screws underneath. if they are self tapping screws then most likely these are the ones holding the cover on. Check for screw holes under labels and feet by feel. Now look for catches in slots to ease to one side while putting some pressure on the cover to lift it away. The process of getting a cover off without scratching or breaking anything can take longer than a repair. Just try not to lose patience and force anything if this printer is valuable to you. You'll probably find that there is a whole lot less stuff inside the printer than you thought. The ic's will just be 1 or 2 LSI's everything will be surface mount and apart from checking a few connectors and switches and that power is getting to the PCB as you suggested there will be little else you can do without the service manual. Have fun anyway!

Tips for a great answer:
Press and hold down the Resume button until the printer starts printing a self-test
page, then release the button.
