100% is the same thing as 1, so .25 / 100% is the same as .25 / 1, which is 0.25 as the calculator shows. Why do you think it should be 25 and not 0.25?

Testimonial: "ok maybe that was a bad example but my point is it does nothing when i type the % in ... nothing at all it just gives me the answer to what ever is in front of the % ."

SOURCE: problems with fractions on the Casio fx-115es

Hello,
To convert fractions to decimals or decimals to fractions, you use the [S<->D] key. Each time you press the key the result is displayed in the other format.
Alternatively, If you multiply or divide two integer numbers put a decimal mark at the end of one of the numbers (any one). The result will be displayed in decimal format.

Hope it helps.

SOURCE: Hi, I have a Casio calculator fx-991MS giving me wrong answers!

Hello,
I am only looking for a plausible cause of the error, because I do not believe your calculator can make such a mistake. I think you accidentally activated the Exponential display format and did not pay attention to the small, raised -03 that came at the end of the number displayed. It is a common mistake for those not very familiar with Scientific or exponential notation.

Let us try to reset your calculator to the normal (floating point) format.
Press the [MODE] key a number of times until you reach a screen that has FIX, SCI, NORM and under each one a number (FIX 1, SCI 2), Norm 3). To have the number of decimal place you gave in your result (4 decimal digits), you press 1 to select Fix then 4.

Be aware that scientific calculators usually stop displaying results in floating point format ( 0.0000045 ) if the number is smaller then 0.001. So basically, 0.00099 will be displayed as 9.90-04, -04 being raised above the level, and in smaller size.

Hope it helps.

Testimonial: "Thanks so much, its working now:) I thought I was going to have to buy a new calculator!"

How to solve two linear equation in three variables using Casio fx-82MS? x+y+z=100 5x+y+0.05z=100

I don<t think you can. Even if you could, you would not be able to find a solution. You need three equations in three unknowns. You only have two.

HOW TO FIND CUBE ROOT OF A NUMBER ON fx-82ms

There are several ways to find the cube root of a number on a calculator. On this calculator, we can use the nth root button, by using the yellow shift button with the ^ key. Another way to do this is just to use the ^ key.

For example, the cube root of 8 is performed by the following key sequence: 8, shift, ^, 3.

Another sequence is: 8 ^ (1/3)

Good luck.

How do i calculate the normal probability value, give z-value, on casio fx-82ms

The fx-82MS does not have any built-in functions for calculating the normal probability distribution or its related values. You can calculate it using the defining function or any of a large number of approximations. Alternatively you can look up the values in a table.

Some advanced calculators have the functions built in, and programmable calculators can be programmed to give them. Sadly the fx-82MS is neither.

For more about the normal distribution, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normal_distribution

Casio fx-82ms calculator does not give me an answer when i use the percentage button . example if i type 0.25/ 100% i get 0.25 instead of the right answer 25

Here is a sample of the percentage calculations that the calculator can perform. You will not see among them the conversion from decimals to percentages.
To convert from decimals to percents move the decimal mark 2 places to the right and append the % sign.
To convert from percents to decimals, move the decimal mark 2 places to the left.
