Most likely this will help solve your problem. Search Maytag (Wax Motor) and you will almost find out too much information on the subject. I recently encountered a problem with mine, (the old brown verison) that does NOT lock the door, therefore making the machine skip the spin cycle... Replacing this (Wax Motor) before it frys your control board is a must! Plus its only $15.00 and is a pretty easy install... hope that helps!

The wetness is due to the spin cycle either not working properly or not being allowed to finish. For the smell, with the washer empty, run a cycle on hot/whites with bleach only, after the first cycle drains, open the washer and add more bleach directly into the washer.

It sounds like your leaving the clothes in the washer long after the cycle is finished. Once your clothes smell from the washer they will smell moldy dry.

Wet clothes after spin cycle and bad mildew smell. I have seen many complaints about mildew smell with He3 & He4 well really frnt loaders in general. The bad mold is so gross and the smell is horrible.

Clean tub boot the best you can with bleach. Then run an empty load with sunlight automatic dish soap (verry little). Then this should clean and freshin the washer up. The best thing to do is not to shut the door on washer when not in use.

After final rinse and spin cycle clothes are still wet

I can't solve this but am having a similar problem. There is no water in the tub but the spin cycle does not get enough water out of the clothes and they're very wet. This causes the towels especially... to smell really bad. The tub is very loose. How can this be fixed.

The clothes smell if left in the washer wet overnight

Wet clothes should not be left in the washer over night as mold will develop and cause a moldy odor. You could run the load through a rinse cycle with fabric softener or baking soda to get rid of the odors.

Ge front load-

We had the same scenario, only our clothes were still very wet when it finally finished the cycle. To cure all three we cleaned the filter behind the front panel. It was badly plugged and it, and the water it was holding up, smelled foul. So far so good since.
