I have a Superwritemaster dvd/cd duplicator with lightscribe capability. But I can't get the lightscribe to work. Help!

Copy light scribe information? No it won't. If your burner supports light scribe you have to start a editor for light scribe and putt the information there manually and then burn it on a light scribe disc.

Error Code 68

System error code 68 means "The name limit for the local computer network adapter card was exceeded." This error code may also display as "ERROR_TOO_MANY_NAMES" or as the value 0x44.

I don't know what this has to do with using lightscribe and burning the CD's but perhaps your running this over a network?

Below is a link for the instructions to use Lightscribe. One thing people do not think about on this, do you have an actuall Lightscribe disk? These are the only disks that will allow you to create a lable in the Lightscribe drive.

When you say "burn dvd titles on a disc", do you mean to write (laser-etch) the name of the movie on the plastic disk? I am assuming that is what you mean. If not, please describe what you mean. . No, LaCie does not make a Blu-Ray LightScribe drive. This is a technology/hardware problem, not a software problem. . Hi, HP use Sonic software to burn CD and work with the CD DVD writer. If burn CD using Sonic soon as the CD burn complete the CD will auto matic will eject just turn the up side down and push it back you can burn the text or image to the CD label. I have 3 HP desktop and that's the way I used to burn CD and Lightscribe labeling.

Before you can use a lightscribe facility, you must have 3 things, which are, A DVD Drive thats has a lightscribe capability/function, a lightscribe software, and a lightscribe compatible CDDisk.
From what I can see, your drive is not capable, or does not support lightscribe functionality. I tried to check everything about your system model and I discovered that the capability of your DVD Drive is this :

• Writable DVD formats: DVD-R (6x, DL [double layer]), DVD-RW (6x), DVD+R (DL [double layer]), DVD-RAM
• CD formats: CD-R (24x), CD-RW (16x)

Which means your DVD Drive does not support Lightscribe facilities.
