Question about Kyocera KM-1505 Copier

Toner Sensor Error C710

The copier doesn't copier but Shows the error message C710 instead. I bought the copier and when it arrived here there was toner all over it. So I assume the toner sensor is not clean or something like that. Where can I find the toner sensor and how do I clean it?

AP = Adding Powder (toner) it's not an error
it's adding toner from the container into the developer unit while displaying AP. when there is enough toner in the container the AP will disappear and copies can be made when there is not enough toner in the container the toner empty light will come on.

yyou have to be careful when doing this.
the waste toner is built in to the process unit (drum unit) and has a plug on the side.
remove the plug and tip it out.

Hi 
The AP message indicates thet the dev is so low in toner that the machine has to go into a full cycle mode to get the toner levels up.
The error code is telling you that one cycle is not enough. you will have to turn the copier off/on and cycle it at least one more time....more if neccessary

Description Toner sensor problem

In your question you mention "Compatible KP23153 Black Toner Cartridge 106153" and that led me to wonder if the compatible cartridge is the cause of your C710 error since that is toner related.
Might be worth trying an original cartridge to see if the error goes away.

Troubleshooting a Copystar CG1505 with an error code of C710.
C710 Toner sensor problem
• The sensor output voltage is outside
the range of 0.5 to 4.5 V during toner control.
• The toner sensor control voltage cannot be set within the setting range when maintenance item U130 is run.

Try removing and refitting drum and toner.
If that doesn't help the toner cartridge or sensor is damaged.

We have a Kyocera Mita KM 1510 and I am getting an error code C710 and the add toner light is on. I put in a new toner cartridge but the error message and the light are still on. Any suggestions?
C 710 is a Toner Sensor Problem

Defective toner sensor - Replace toner sensor

Poor contact of the toner sensor connector terminals - Reinsert the connector. Also check for continuity within the connector cable. If none, repair or replace cable.

Developer problem - Replace developer.

My Konica1015 shows a p.27 error message, what
P27 Toner density sensor unplugged or toner density sensor problem.
Conduct the condition of the sensor of the toner and presence of the toner in block of the manifestation, as well as presence of the perfected toner, clean the container with perfected by toner in block of the drum. Thank you.

Error c710
it means that toner cannot enter the developing section of the copier, all you have to do is remove the developing unit, then pour it with enough toner, the problem will be solve.

Your problem could be one of several things:

1) The Carrier (iron filings) inside the imaging unit is deteriorated and needs to be replaced.

2) The Toner sensor inside the imaging unit may be giving an incoorect reading, due to be faulty or because of old toner/carrier mix blockage close to sensor. Give the imaging unit a good service and replace the carrier.

3) The wires behind the black cover of the imaging unit have been picnhed and is shorting on the metal plate

4) The main PCB of the machine could be faulty
