My Jitterbug Flip 2 has text issues, how do I fix it!

This is $100 budget phone for seniors, so I am thinking the quality must be low. However the problem states that poor signal and network strength is the issue. You need to contact your Telco about the reception where you live. Low signal strength can also be caused physically where you live, say if you live in a basement apartment within a family home.

I can't send an MMS or pic on my straight talk ZTE Majesty cell phone

If you do not have at least 2 steady bars of reception strength, text messages or pic messages could fail sometimes. If these fail no matter what signal strength, you should contact your phone provider (StraightTalk).

Poor reception when trying to get MW

Poor reception or with heavy noise aas the interference is very high on the MW. If there is no signal strength then the fault can be due to faulty RF in the radio, poor MW oscillator settings or a faulty IF settings.
Also a faulty antennae can cause poor reception and pick of stray signals.
Check for other interferances from household applicances.

I have a new Onkyo TX-SR508 receiver. When listening to FM radio the audio cuts out repeatedly for anything from a few seconds to a minute. Power fluctuation is very unlikely to be the problem. Signal...

Does the display show "tuned" or "FM Stereo"? This would normally indicate a good reception. The tuner has a signal level threshold and if the signal gets to week, the receiver mutes to prevent noise in the speakers. Swithing to mono make reception less intolerant. Does the problem also occur, when you switch to mono?

Casio atomic watch only has intermittent receive indicator

The receive indicator tells you the strength of the signal when the timing signal was transmitted, (this occurs only during the night).

The strength of the signal dictates how much of the indicator is shown i.e. full strength, full picture, half strength, half picture, no picture, no signal.

Signal strength seems to vary with location (how far you are from the transmitter), so perhaps you are in a poor reception area.

Poor signal reception

Try to use your phone outdoor and observe the signal. If the signal strength is high, then maybe there is some interference with the signal. Try also to check your phone services, they maybe have a technical problem.

"Poor GPS Reception" error on iPhone Tom Tom GPS

Unfortunately it appears the iPhone's GPS chip isn't up to much as we've all suspected. Some people can get it working while many are reporting, like you, that they get drop outs and poor signal strength errors. This is happening accross all the iPhone Sat Nav apps so it points the finger at the GPS chip itself, especially as many of these people are stating they have dedicated tomtoms and the like that work fine. I've tried Copilot, tomtom and others on the iPhone 3GS and none are able to keep signal long enough to be any good. In fact they are a complete waste of money. It's no suprise Tomtom are releasing a cradle for the iPhone which includes a seperate more powerful GPS receiver...

Poor antenna reception

That's a problem with the digital broadcasting. Signal strength is critical, and the frequencies used are more directional. Some people are finding they get no reception at all. Your antenna may not need to be higher, but aimed in a different direction. Did you have a rotator installed as well? An outside antenna really should be pointed toward the station. You might also be able to add an amplifier to the antenna to boost the signal. But get a mast-mounted version that mounts right at the antenna, not the kind that goes at the TV set.
