My camera is not taking photos but just doing videos automatically i cant change it to photo instead of video

I am very sorry you are experiencing this problem. I will do anything i can do to help. Please check if you have a warranty on the phone because there is something wrong with it. Please try to see if you can get a new one or get this one fixed.

look at the buttons along the side, you will see a slider which slides 3 ways it is very small but just flick that to the middle or the other side :)

The date is held in the EXIF data in the photo file, you can view that on your PC. Some shop photo kiosks let you print this on the photo. As far as I am aware there is no setting in the camera to get the date to print on the photo like 35mm cameras often did.

make sure the button on the side of your phne is switched to camera option and not preview or video camera. Then either press the "take photo" button or access your camera manualy through your pohne.

The image is blury? when its in Video cam mode or Photo mode?

Try going into the settings at the side of the screen when your in the camera mode and see if night mode is on or any other effects as night mode will take in too much light and make it appear blury if its already light. I think :os

xfer the videos to the memory card and connect the phone as mass storage and manually xfer the videos from one folder to another. Your phone will appear as Fat4 drive.

You cannot change an MPG to a JPG.
The only thing you might be able to do is with a video program take an image from the video.

you are sure you are switching to Photo and not video? Check the manual carefully. This is a most unusual happening. If you absolutely certain that this is what happening. Get onto Fuji Tech Support team.
