Try one of these two recommendations. If there is a key symbol, press and hold for 4 seconds.

If no key symbol, cut the power to the unit and the child lock will stop working. (You are probably going to have to reset the clock, etc. )

On the Audi Q7, depending on country and options the child lock is either:

1. On the drivers armrest, near the window switches, there are 2 buttons with a little orange light and a picture of a little baby on them. Deselect both buttons to turn off the child locks.

2. Open the passenger doors, there is a small keyhole on the inside of the door above the latch, use your key and turn it 90 degrees to turn off the child lock.

when you open the door where the lock is located there is a control for the child lock turn it off the way the sticker indicates with your key.

hi..To do a Child Lock, follow these steps:

1. Turn on your TV.
2. On the remote, press the Menu button. The Set-Up Menu appears.
3. Scroll to the Key Lock function and set function to Off.
4. Press the Exit button to exit....

from my experience press the last function key and hold that should turn it off, if that doesn't work press the temp and hold or the energy save, the key is to hold it and try and see the last function key that was pressed.

unplug it, then plug it back in! quick fix!
