I have the above pc & i cant get my 2.1 speakers to work, i've tried connecting the speakers to my fujitsu laptop via the jack plug & they work fine......there are 3 connection that look like jack plugs on my scalo p- pink blue green........how do i get these to work....help please
I think that this will solve the problem with my MPC ClientPro 414 All-in-one.
For my solution I am purchasing a StarTech USB 2.0 Audio Adapter 7.1 for about $20 and plugging it into a USB and plugging my speakers into that.
The Lime Green one is the one to use for your speakers or headphones but mine is not working either (unless I use the speakers with the plug in booster and even then I have to max the volume to get some low low volume sound).
I had read on another forum that the sound card Vinyl AC'97 Codec Combo Driver (WDM) had a driver update put out by Microsoft that flubbed up the sound card but I have not been able to verify this. The maker is VIA Technologies and of course like MPC they filed Ch. 11 Bankruptcy. So, with that said and many hours of wrecking my brain over this...I am purchasing that StarTech USB 2.0 Audio Adapter 7.1 for about $20 and plugging it into a USB and plugging my speakers into that and it SHOULD work!
Good luck to all with this problem!
Hi There Try this, CONNECTION Check your connections on Rear part of your PC. Lime is for Sound Out usually a speaker, Pink is for Mic, Blue for Audio Input. VOLUME Try Adjusting the vlume on your PC first. Check the volume on the Headphone too if there is one. CLEANING Using a dump clothe. Wipe the plugs with a twisting motion. WIRELESS\BLUETOOTH Check your battery if it is drained. Try replacing them with a new one or charge them if they are rechargables. If all fails then You may have a Sound Card problem. Using a spare Speaker or Headphone check it if it works. If its not then its Defective and needs replacement. If its working then your Speakers or Headphones are defective. Try fixing them by cleaning or checking the Continuity of its cables using a analog Multi tester. Hope This helps ======================= If you are having trouble with Newly bought items then return them and demand a replacement or a refund! You may have purchased a reconditioned\repaired\factory defect product.

I am having this same problem with the MPC Clientpro 414 all in one.
I have used external speakers with a plug in power booster and I can hear them if I sit 2 inches from them but I am trying to resolve this same issue.
FYI- MPC filed bankruptcy November 2008 so there are no new updates for driver or any other support available :-(
