Indesit DI 620 which won't drain water

I have an Indesit DI 620 which won't drain the water.. I have cleaned the filter and checked hose is clear, but it just won't clear. About 1 yr ago it leaked and an Indesit engineer came out as it had burnt out the motor underneath. Having tried to start the dishwasher it is now flashing lights 1 & 2... any ideas how to fix this please??? There is still residual water around the filter but I am unable to remove any more... The unit is only 2 yrs old and is only used 1/2 times per week so not excessive use at all.

Why won't my dishwasher drain even though filter is clear

Sounds like the hose may have a blockage. Can you get a bottle brush or similar up the drain hose? If no luck call a service agent.

My indesit iwc6105 washing machine is not draining at all.

see this causes: and fix it. God bless you
Belt, Water Pump If the washer won't drain the pump belt might have broken or might have worn out. Check the belt and replace if it shows signs of excessive wear.

Drain Pump If the washer won't drain water the drain pump might be defective. It's also common for a small sock or other article of clothing to get caught in the drain pump or in the drain hose. Check both for an obstruction before replacing the pump.

Clogged Pump or Hose If the washer won't drain there might be a clogged pump or hose. It's common for small socks or other small clothing items to get into the water drain system and clog the hose leading to the pump or the pump itself. Remove the hoses from the pump in order to remove the article of clothing. Keep in mind that any water in the washer will pour out of the hoses when removed.

Drive Belt If the washer won't drain, should check the drive belt. If the belt is broken or if it isn't tight on the pulleys the washer won't drain properly, if at all.

Lid Switch Assembly If the washer won't drain the lid switch assembly might be defective. This is a very common problem. The lid switch assembly can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any electrical switches with an Ohm meter for continuity. The switches should have continuity according to their design.

Door Lock Motor and Switch Assembly If the washer won't drain the door lock assembly should be checked. The door lock can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any switches on the door lock with an Ohm meter. The switches should have continuity according to their design.

Drain Hose If the washer won't drain water check the drain hose. Be sure the hose did not get kinked behind the washer. Also, remove the hose from the pump and check it for obstructions.

Coin Trap If the washer won't drain the coin trap may be clogged. This washer is equipped with a device near the water pump called a coin trap. The purpose of this device is to trap any foreign materials that make their way down the drain. Normally, the coin trap can be accessed through an access panel. It is designed with the homeowner in mind and is normally easy to clean out

Is there a filter on a indesit wdg1095w

The lint filters on washing machines over the past 10+ years are mounted unter the tub. When the spin cycle starts, the water drains out of the tub, through the filter to clean it out/off, and out through the drain hose.

I have a Indesit DI 620 dishwasher that wont empty its water and with an error code of no 2 and 4 flashing rapidly, what can this be please ?

You should consult your owners manual for the error code description in the back under "troubleshooting". The obvious problem is that you are not rinsing your dishes enough and the bottom drain is clogged and needs to be cleaned out. The food will clog the hole and back it up.

Indesit DI620 but won't drain the water after a wash

are you finding water in the filter or is the appliance filled with water,if it is only in the filter at the end of the cycle, this is normal as it is used to condensed the steam after the 80o final rinse which drys the cutlery.if ithe appliance is filled then check the drain hose not partily blocked with grease or partly blocked at the sink if plumbed to there

Indesit IDL 50 Dishwasher

Had a similar problem (flashing lights 1 and 2). Drained the machine by diconnecting the outlet hose and using a shallow bowl on the floor. Removed and cleaned filters. Forced clean water through by using a garden hose pipe(you can only do this one way, you cannot force water down the outlet pipe). Removed and cleaned the pump (you have to do this from under the machine but easy enough). Finally ensuring the waste trap under the sink was clear. Bingo!! No parts, no expensive engineer.

Green light flashing

hello to all
i am in naples italy and just fixed my machine.
idl 600 second and forth light blinking after fill up and then it drains the water out.
this is a clogged filter alarm but if the filter is not clogged its the heating element bad.
the element has a thermostat that heats the water to about 90 degrees c.
in my case the element was burned open and checking this with a ohm meter it showed no resistance.
normally it should be about 100 ohms.
the mother board were the lights are does a check on all systems and if anything fails in this case the heater element then it goes into alarm and pumps out the water.
total cost here near naples italy was 28 euro for the heating element and i replaced it my self.
feel free to e-mail me if this is allowed at [email protected]
hope this helps a lot of friends
