Steel beams will need to be used if you want open space with no poles. Laminated beams can also be used but support poles will have to be added. Build a truss roof over top and do away with the flat roof.

It sounds like the sheets were incorrectly installed. The nails should be in the higher section of the corrugated iron rather than the valley, the lower part. If it is in the lower part, it is constantly wet when it rains, so will leak. If you can identify which nails are leaking, clean that nail head and apply some silicone or spray with bitumastic sealer. If the roof is old, replace it. pre-drill the holes and use a small blob of silicone.

The sun roof has a drain channel that runs down the A post (between front doors and windshield) and sends water behind the fender. This can get clogged and back up. On my car there was a joint inside that separated, so the liquid would drain into the car.

Park it in a garage and not use the garage as a pool room or a kitchen extension or have i i been watching too many grand designs on the TV ,Failing which consult a body shop as it may need new material or something as if you live in a hotter climate then UV sun damage will cause this
Did that once myself.
For me, the first thing I learned was that wherever I needed the same exact length of "rope" I used chain. I wrapped the chain in the rubber insulation used on 1/2" pipe to protect the top where necessary. By using chain I just counted the links to get exact lengths and make adjustments where I needed to.
I built a 2x4 frame to the size of the roof with the idea of having a chain come down in each corner to hook onto the roof. Also had chain going from each corner of the 2x4 frame to a common point I would lift from. Think of a 2.5 feet of chain from each corner meeting at a point above the roof. I attached a boat winch to the wall of the garage and through some pulleys I was able to winch the roof off and lower it when I wanted to put it back on. By using the chain I was able to make adjustments to height, tilt, etc.
