File storage is full

To delete stored files on the disk, look for the Access Stored Files icon on the main menu screen. (The manual shows the icon as either the right-most one on the top line or the left-most icon on the second line.) Press this icon to get a list of storage locations. Choose the storage area and then an individual mailbox, if you select the Mailbox icon. Select a file and press the Edit file button (second button from the left) below the list. The Delete button should show in a windows as the top left button. This function may be limited to the internal mail box that you can access.

If you need one of the stored documents, consider using the Send or Print options. The send or print the file by choosing the Delete after Send or Delete after Print buttons on the right side of each of these screens.

Under Settings > Storage you'll find the option to free more space.

To gain extra memory, you can turn off Fax Storage OR Print fax messages in memory (See Setting Fax Storage, page 48.) OR Expand the machines memory.
Retrieve or Erase a Fax
Press 9 6
then to
Retrieve all faxes Press 2, then enter the number of remote fax machine and then press # #. After
the beep, hang up and wait.
Erase all fax messages Press 3. If the data stored in the memory has not been printed before, it will be printed first and then erased.

Setting Fax Storage
If you set Fax Storage to ON, you will be able to retrieve fax messages from another location, using Fax Forwarding or Remote Retrieval functions. The screen will indicate when you have a fax stored
in memory.
1 Press Menu, 2, 5, 2.
2 Press left arrow or right arrow to select ON (or OFF), and press Set when the screen displays your selection.
3 Press Stop/Exit.

If there are faxes in memory when you turn the Fax Storage OFF, the screen prompts you to erase any faxes in memory.
If you press 1, all fax data is erased and Fax Storage is turned OFF. If the fax data in memory has not been printed before, it will be printed first, and then erased. If you press 2, data is not erased, and Fax Storage remains ON.

Move some of your files[e.g.music files,photos,videos etc] from your phone to your memory card.This is how to:

• Locate the file.Select on options using your left hand soft key.
• Select move to/send to and then select on memory card.
• Move as much files as possible to create ample phone memory.
• When receiving files[e.g via bluetooth] select memory card as the storage destination to avoid such cases or you can go to the bluetooth applacation,select on options and then storage.Set memory card as the default bluetooth storage destination.

If you cannot delete email in Outlook Express and the program crashes frequently the problem might be because of corrupt storage folders - typically, the Inbox and the Deleted Items. As you may know, the email program uses the Inbox to store all incoming email, Sent Items for the messages you have sent and Delete Items for the messages that have been discarded. Now if you cannot delete an email in Outlook Express the cause of your troubles might be faultly or corrupt Inbox or Delete Items folders.
Fixing these two folders is not difficult and for that we need to find out where these folders reside on the hard disk. In the Outlook Express program, go to "Tools" -> "Options" and move to the "Maintenance" tab. You'll find a "Store Folder..." button; click on it. This brings up a small window with the path to the storage folders directory. Use the left mouse button and click to select the entire path. Now right-click and choose the "Copy" option. Close the Outlook Express program.
Open the "Run" program from the "Start" menu and paste the full path (CONTROL-V or right-click -> Paste). The Outlook Express storage folders are hidden files. You may need to force Windows to show them. From the top menu, select "Tools" -> "Folder Options" and then from the "View" tab, check "Show Hidden Files and Folders". Now simply select the Deleted Items.dbx file and send it to the recycle bin. Don't worry; Outlook Express will create a new one when you start it again.
If you still cannot delete the email after manually removing the Deleted Items.dbx file, I suggest you do the same for the inbox storage folder. However, deleting that will also remove all of your store email messages. So first select and drag all the messages in a temporary folder (create on the Desktop); you can then drag them back to the inbox when you open Outlook Express again and it creates the inbox afresh.

Hi There,

I believe that your SMS is clogging up everything that is why its not functional properly.

1) Go into messages/select option and access SIM messages. Delete these all if you are done with them.

2) Delete all unwanted SMS in your Inbox,Sent Items and Outbox.

3) Go into your Settings/search for File Manager,Storage Manager. And have your main storage set to memory card instaed of your fone.

try this
press "menu" and then "#" button, go to service mode. Select the "clear data function". and select "memory clear"

u can send files via bluetooth using card memory as messaging memory ,i know this option is not in ngage, u can turn the messaging memory using the software "msvDrive"just install the msvdirve.sis on ur ngage and the memory will change when u execute it.

Basicly, your PDA has these kinds of storage areas:

1. Main Storage (Where windows is) 3. Storage Card (2GB in your case)
If your main storage area is full, your PDA will start to show up messages that your memory is full. In this case, if your personal zip files, or other files are in your main storage area, you can transfer them to your Storage Card (cut & paste) using the file explorer in the start menu to free up some space in your Main Storage area. But be carefull while doing this process, because some files are needed to stay in the main storage area for the windows to function properly. So you should consider only transfering personal data like notes, pictures, etc..

Clear your IE Cache. Go to IE, menu, options, memory and clear all that junk too.
