Disconnect all speaker connections and rca cables. Leave power, ground and remote wires intact. Try turning on again. If you still have a protection light your amp is faulty. Hopefully you have warranty . Please check speakers impedance

Yes audiobahn do make a QUAD coil, and some people get confused with the - - + + on the terminal, This is called a dual lug, Check out Audiobahn.com and go to tech suport. Thier you can look up the wiring diagram for this sub... TRUST ME hope this was helpful positive feed back be nice lol
check out audiobahn.com and click on the tech support. then you while see some diagrams for subs, for different ways check it out it helped me out with my aw1508x being pushed by two a2300hcx
you can go to audiobahns website. just fill in the specs like how many subs you have and what kind of amp/amps and it will give you all available wiring options.
