SOURCE: colors became distorted, then it shut off

Your tv has two problems showing up at the same time, the convergence IC's have loose conections in some of the conecting pins, the Ic's are mounted on heat sinks and can be identify by the markings on its face STK--- ---,3 letters and 6 numbers, one IC for each color, this pins need to be resoldered as well as any other loose conection or overheated areas in the board. The shutdown problem might be a resistor next to the output transformer, its value should be .47 ohms but it might measure open right now,the resistor is at the back edge of the circuit board on the right witch is the deflection board. If you are familiar with tv service you have a place to start but if you are not too familiar be safe and call for assistance from a servicer.Let Us know how it goes.

SOURCE: WD60C9 turns off for a few seconds

It is possible since the set intakes air from front and exhausts it from the rear you have a dirt buildup inside.

Hi? My Sony Projection T.V model KP-FX432M91 is taking time to power on and once it has powered on it work fine.what might be the problem?

Power button may need to be replaced. Try turning on via remote.

Some TVs need to warm up before coming on. Hitting the power button several times may in all actuality be Turing it off and on.

Enter buttion not working

Hello, that seems to be a bad contact on the enter button, the solution is to take a part the key and clean it, otherwise you need to replace the under key switch.
Thanks

Bush lcd42f1080p100hz remote will not turn tv on

I had come home about a week ago and pushed the power button from my remote but my tv did not respond. So I just went to the front panel and pushed power but once the tv turned on, the volume was on full blast! I used the front panel volume decrease to get the volume down, but when I stopped pushing the button, the tv increased its volume to full blast again by itself! Naturally I just turned the tv off for a few moments. I tried the remote again, no response again, so I used the panel power button. The tv volume was still full blast when it turned on but after I decreased the volume it stayed this time. The picture is and has been perfectly fine and the tv was working fine. The next day the problem started all over and now once we turned it off from frustration of having to manually use the panel to change channels, it now will not turn on at all. I have changed batteries from my remote, reprogrammed my remote, pushed system reset several times, unplugged it for a while, bought a new surge charge, and even held the menu and device panel buttons for 10 sec and tried to turn the t.v. on again! What other options do I have or what may be the issue at hand and possible parts that may need to be replaced?? Thanks!!

JVC KD-HDR60 has stopped responding to commands. No volume control, can't eject disc, can't turn off, nothing works. It is currently playing a CD, but can't stop or eject. Tried resetting, no...

I had the exact same problem on my unit the other day. I spent a couple of hours trying to fix it. Did the reset button button behind the faceplate and the I couldn't get the unit on at all. I found the if you push the power/source button as soon as you put the unit on the power would turn back on, but buttons still wouldn't work. After trying several different combination, I started hitting the UP arrow button (which is the program buttons) as fast I could for about 10 seconds and the unit started working. Might have been lucky, but it worked for me.

Philips 42PF9956/37 Plasma TV - Looking for y sustain board

it isnt the Y-SUS board, it is the Power supply, iv fixed this exact problem twice in the last month, try turning the tv on, and when it turns green, unplug it real fast, while light is still green, after 15 seconds plug it back in, then hit the power button, if it dont come on, hit the power button again, this time, as soon as it turns off, hit the power button again to turn back on, sometimes you can trick the tv and it will turn on, at least i was able to do it, and once it comes on, it should work fine, untill you turn it off again.
