Question about Lands Phones

Cordless phone e3300 Binatone blocked

Our e3300 Binatone cordless phone is blocked.We cannot get a dial tone,and incoming calls cannot be heard,athough the caller can hear us.The land line has been checked and working.I believe that the info is on page 7 of the manual of which I do not have.... Open to suggestions.....

    Now I have another problem. As I dont have any credit cards I am unable to join the Premium Solution Plan...Where do we go from here?????

A friendly person sent me a manual for the e3300 and I managed to correct the problem.Thank-you for your concern and support.

Please help I can't ring out on my phone
Check for dialing tone by pressing 'Talk On' phone button.
If no tone, check cord at base station and the phone socket is correctly plugged in at both ends using the original cord supplied.

We have a Uniden 6.0 digital ansering system with 2 cordless handsets. There is no dial tone to the handsets. We have changed the battery but still no dial tone. However, when an incoming call comes in...

No dial tone phone jack tested ok phone rings incoming call when you pic up nobody. changed battery still no dial tone or conection on incoming call
This is caused by a failed wireless signal transmitter in the base station or a failed wireless receiver in the handset, these phones are not repaired unless they are under warranty, so all you can do is replace it, this is the #1 PROBLEM WITH ALL CORDLESS PHONES.

Disconnects incoming calls after one ring
The problem may be a short on your line. (Have the local Teleco check your line.) If you have other phones, you may want to check them for dial tone(DT) when this happens. If you have no DT, your cordless may be the problem...unplug, and let charge overnight. If problem continues, replace the battery in cordless, or discontinue use.

the menu will take you to registering the hand sets to the base unit
by deleting incoming calls you have disconnected from the line
follow the instructions in the user manual to get reconnected
if you do not have the user manual , go google and type in --user manual for ge ( model ) cordless phone --and down load the pdf version

Dial tone is OK, but can't dial out
• Make sure the tone/pulse setting is programmed
correctly.
TONE/PULSE DIALING
1. Make sure the phone is OFF (not in TALK mode).
2. Use the CID/VOL left (-) or right (+) arrow button to
scroll to 1TONE or 2PULSE, or use the touch tone
pad on the handset to enter the desired setting. For
example, to choose TONE dialing, press the number 1
key. 1TONE is the default setting.
3. Press flash/program to store selection. You will hear a
confirmation tone.

Cordless receivers not working
If you have tried the phone base unit in the same jack that works correctly with your answering machine and you still cannot break dial tone, then you have a defective base unit. Jer
