You probably need a new lamp. They cost around $30 to $40 online with a google search.

Most likely the buttons on the tv are stuck or malfunctioning, replacment of the button pannel will solve the issue

Logically speaking, try not to use cable that aint appropriate for that device. If you want to get a better result for what you want to achieve try to use the recommended ones (cables). That projection TV need an specified accessories, which is that special cable. If you want to modify its connection try to buy an adapter for that certain cable.

Will not turn on. TV is pluged in its almost like a power surge. The power bar is lit so for some reason the tv is not getting power.
