you could try cleaning the switch.
could be just bad connections.
or just replace the switch.
or a loose connection.
it could be none of the above but worth checking.
Most of the time there is a foldback of the left and right audio inputs of the subwoofer in that they use and sum the L and R audio and then filter the high end off. That means that the audio outs from your source be it the TV audio outs or a AV receiver that they can be Y corded to the sub woofer for that purpose.
Hi sheawm. You can use your speakers as long they have the mini-plug connector such as ipods, blackberrys, laptops, desktops, etc. so it won´t matter. I hope this helps.
