No disk i have my moms printer and have had it for a while now but i never had the disk since i hooked it up and i had to restore my computer and it got deleted of the computer! and i need my printer and dont wanna buy a new one is there any way i can hook it up with out the disk?

U can download here
Just type in the name of the driver, if the results are to be further refined , click on the category “driver”.. If you further want to get only Rapidshare or Megaupload links, just change the drop down menu from “Main Search” to “Rapidshare Files” or “Megaupload Files”. Finds almost any driverinstantly.

Remove the disk-drive from the computer, and connect it as a "slave" disk-drive on some other UBUNTU computer. Then, you can copy all mom's files to your computer. Then, put the disk-drive back into mom's computer, and reinstall UBUNTU, and copy all her files (over your private network) back to her computer.

Looks most likely that your Moms' hard disk has some bad sector on the boot drive. The best you can do is to reinstall the laptop. You may have to hand over the laptop to someone who is good with computer and has the OS disk to this this for you.

Hello mdie.... If you have the driver disk this is what you need to do. Load it and then select the option which will allow you to remove all of the printer info from your mom's computer. Once it is all removed, reinsert the driver again and download the information.

Do not use the wireless function to get up and running, instead connect the computer to the printer with the printer cable or USB cable. This will generally solve the problem. Joe

I got this computer from my mom cause she couldnt get it to start to vista .. it will turn on with no problem but it go to the startup repair screen and starts to see if there is anything that needs repair...

Instead of repairing, there are other options it gives such as restoring the computer to an earlier time. Choose that option and try to pick a restore point back before the problems began. Just boot the machine with the vista disc, when windows files load, there will be an option to restore.

I need to hook my printer back to my computer i lost the disk

Go to Brothers web site and look for downloads or drivers. Download the drivers for your model and install them. Also if it has any software/manuals that the model uses you should find it there as well. I you already have software installed I would uninstall and reinstall the software you download.

do you have any operating system disks or restore disks, if so re-install with the restore disks and it will be just as it would have been, what operating system are you using, probably windows xp or vista, but most likely solution is to re install the OS, or try exploring any other options given by the error dialog.
