There are many parallel port add-on cards available on the market. Ask your local computer dealer for a "PCI parallel port add-on card".
This card slots into an empty PCI slot in your computer.

No, the printer does not connect to the ethernet port.

Before you hook your printer to your laptop besure to run any softwear that came with the printer.
I would also recommend that you go to the Manufacturer's website for updated drivers for your printer.
Your printer will have a printer port or usb port on the side/back of the printer to plug the printer cable into the printer.
You will plug the other end of the printer cable into a usb port on your laptop.

Do the below steps.
1.Connect Printer cable(usb cable)to Computer&Swicth ON the printer.Printer driver cd also put in your cd/vd drive.
2.Start-device&Printers-Add Printer-Add a Local Printer-Select Port as USB001-Next-Have disk-Select yor Cd/dvd drive(Put Printer driver cd in your Cd/dvd drive)-next-next-Finish.

depends. these machines did not come standard with print option. do you have that option? if so does it have a parrell or nic? the nic is the new stanard connection, ethernet j45 connector. are you printing mac? if so you have to have the post script ooption in addtion to the nic and print card.

Epson TM-T88III - Always showing as not avaliable

I had the same with XP .... I had my home inkjet (Parallel port) on LPT1. The Epson TM software and printer worked fine after removing the ink jet from LPT1 and re-installing the TM driver.
