Tom tom go 300 wont turn on

Same problem...TomTom GO 300 won't turn on. Green light is on, unit is plugged into power source. Screen remains black. Just called customer support. Their answer is that since the 2 yr warranty is up, there is nothing that can be done. They won't repair it. It's just TRASH. I'm arguing with them now to at least give me a credit for the $60 I spent on a new map update less than a yr ago. Does not sound promising ....... Same problem...TomTom GO 300 won't turn on.
