Upgrade video graphics

if thats the case.. mag down grade ka sa VGA Card ng Pentium 4 mo or Buy a new monitor that fits the specs of your Pentium 4 setup

Your existing CPU will not work with that motherboard. The AM2+/AM2 processor slot is for AMD processors only. For this motherboard, you will need one of the following processors: Phenom FX / Phenom / Athlon 64 FX / Athlon 64 X2

Pretty difficult to upgrade video cards in older laptops try getting a USB VGA adapter :

Check you plug to see if one of the pins are bent over and also pull the video card and reseat in the computer sometime it only takes a little bump to make them move if it is not that then its the video card seeing that you already upgraded your software

Hi, i'm getting an ATI Radeon 2600XT for this system soon. But any AGP card *should* work fine (i'm hoping), just stick to midrange cards due to the low-grade power supply. I will post after the install and let you know how it goes.

Do you have shared ram on your laptop?, i mean if the graphic card use the same ram as systems then the ram will be shared between graphic and system, however to get the good result the 512 won't be enough try 1gb to get good performance.
