Problem with Samsung SyncMaster 150 N

I have a Samsung SyncMaster 150 N 15 in. Flat Panel LCD monitor. From the past few days, its display is gone but the power LED glows. Display comes sometimes momenterily but does not remain stable. I connected several other monitors with the same computer. All of them work fine. And I also connected this monitor to other computers. There also it does not work. So there is no possibility of any fault in the data or power line. The problem is in the monitor itself. Can anyone please help me regarding this? Thanks. -- Prashant

If the monitor is still under warranty it can be replaced free of charge.

Panal light on & no display

check caps on the power supply and replace with good and of the same rating. if not then maybe your backlight is gone

go to control panel then power option then change setting to TURN OF DISPLAY "NEVER"

Hi I have a samsung syncMaster 920N The screen has suddenly gone blank - the power light is showing. I have a second identical monitor and have swapped cables but no difference Is it a repairable fault?...

This happened to me a few months back. I removed all cables and left it for 2 days. Switched back on on it worked fine. That is until yesterday when half the screen went black. I found that my driver was out of date. I have undated the driver but have decided to leave it off and unplugged for another day.
You could try this. You say you have another monitor, i would suggest using it for a few days and the try the old one again.

Try it on another computer, it could be your video card that died.

My syncmaster just stopped working one day after i woke up.its black but if you look close enough,you see your desktop. please [email protected]

That means that the inverter is gone.

If you can see the picture by pointing a flashlight on display at close distance, then the inverter must be replaced. The inverter is the power board thet supplies high voltage to backlight lamp.

Sounds like the invertor board in the monitor is bad or the LCD screen has had it and needs replacing.
