I bought a used lg cu500 off the internet. I think the phone may be corrupted. Constantly drops calls, wont answer incoming calls even though I'm showing good signal strength. Won't connect to the web or send pics most of the time. I would like any help with this problem. It is very frustrating to say the least.
Contact your network provider. They can test the signal of the phone and also reset it to the network settings. Have you turned your phone off recently? Leaving a phone on continually will sometimes give you these errors. The network updates the software in your phone and if you do not turn it off once in a while the updates will not be applied.

The LG CU500 is a 3G phone I think. You may need to change your SIM CARD to 3G. I had a razor and my Sim didn't work with the LG CU320 I bought. Also unlocking a LG phone is a little more troublesome that other phones. I found a solution on the web. sorry I don't remember the website address, but it comes up in any google search. Hope this helps.
