then push SUN key down. lower red arrow below.
if this fails to lower the backlamps
that means the drivers are missing. xp,.vista,w7 are all dell supports. (NO OS stated by OP nor hyjackers. as is par here)

ere's the Plants vs Zombies Cheats and Tips ' Infinite Sun Cheat : 1. Make sure you have downloaded the Plants vs Zombies game in your PC.
2. You will be needing the Cheat Engine tool. Read my previous post where to download Cheat Engine. Here's the link.
3. After downloading Cheat Engine, Install it.
4. Open and play the adventure game of Plants vs Zombie
5. Open cheat engine tool and click the computer icon below the File. (see image under procedure #6.)
6. A small window will pop-up under Process list. Select popcapgame1.exe then click open.


7. Go back to your game. See the current suns you have. Based on the picture below, I have 75 suns. Don't start the game yet.

8. Go to cheat engine and type the number of suns you have in the Hex box then click First Scan.

9. Go back to your game and this time use some of your suns. Notice that from 75 suns I now have 25.

10.Go to cheat engine tool again and type on the Hex box the number of suns you have after the purchase, then click Next Scan button.

11. You will get one address left, double click it. Change the Value from 25 to your desired value, let's say you want to have 900000 suns, type it in the Value window that pops-up and click ok.

12. Now, go back to your game and you can see that you now have 900000 suns to use for that level.
Here's the bad side of this cheat. You can have as many suns as you want but those suns can only be use on the current level you are playing. If you want to have infinite suns on your next level, you need to go through the whole procedure again.

On most laptops, there are 2 blue-tinted pictures that may looks like light bulbs or suns located on 2 of the function keys (F1, F2, etc.) that stand for increase and decrease brightness. If you hold the "Fn" key, and start tapping the increase brightness key, the screen should turn brighter. Otherwise, you may be able to adjust screen brightness from Windows, by going to power options (control panel or right click the battery icon in the task bar) or by customizing your desktop (control panel or right click on the desktop).

The Back-light on your LCD screen is bad, your crystals aren't illuminating, so it is dark.... very dark.

You need a new LCD screen.

Type wjview

If you get a file not found error, Download Virtual Machine (not win 2000).
If you get information, click on OK. Now do the following:
Go to Start, Control Panel. Click on Internet Options.
Go to the Advanced tab.
Find "Java(Sun)" in the list.
Untick the box "Use Sun Java".
Close all Internet Explorer windows, and try chat again.

My name is ArmyMason and I think I can help you with this. Their is two different ways of getting around this issue. One is turning up the back light via your keyboard. Their should be a blue picture of a sun with an arrow pointing up, mine is on the F10 key. Hold down the FN key and tap the up sun key until you get the desired brightness. The other solution is take the computer out of laptop mode. You can do this by right clicking on your desktop and choose properties. Click the Screen saver tab and then click the Power Button. Change the power scheme to Home/Office Desk and click Apply. Now when you are on battery power your computer sceen shouldn't dim and your processor should also run at full speed if you choosed to do the second option.

try this, on the laptop keyboard on the bottom left cornet, there should be a button that says 'Fn' written in 'blue'

also on the keyboard, there are secondary buttons, if you look on some off the buttons on the keyboard, there are some pics, numbers letter etc written in blue on the buttons, look for one that has a arrow up and beside that on the same button a picture of a sun, when found do this:

Hold Fn and click on that key with the arrow pointing up with picture of sun and tap that button repeatedly to increase back light while holding the Fn button down firmly

sure you will need to plug the computer to the power first

second you can try to increase the brightness and that would be by click and hold Fn key (mostly in blue color) and the (sun shape key also in blue).

i got a 62VS69A model type hitachi tv.... and it was thunderin and lightning outside all day .... and i left it on ... and when i woke up ... it was off..... and when i went to turn it back on.... it blinks blue,, then the light below it blinks red.... and the light below that light blinks red .... and then the first blue one again ... and over and over again ... untill finally it juss stays red... i donno whats goin on with this tv... im assumin it was the bad weather outside that did it but im not sure..... can someone PLEASE help a brother out ? lol

your lens ( iris may be sticking ) and its cables need cleaning : an authorized service center will replace the lens - possibly under warranty , if you call sharp customer service with sales date information , first ;
