1. Remove memory stick from psp
2. Plug in usb cable and start usb connection
3. Insert memory stick and now you should be good

For some reason you might have to repeat these 3 steps everytime you want to access your memory stick

How to upgrade sony psp

Go to us.playstation.com and download the latest PSP update. Connect your PSP to your computer using a USB cable. Wait for your computer to recognize that the PSP is connected (a bubble should appear that says "New hardware detected" or something similar).

Once you computer sees the PSP, go to "My Computer" and look for the PSP. It should be called "Removable Disk" and have an icon.

Open the removable disk icon, and look for a folder called "PSP." Open that folder, and then open the folder inside of it called "GAME." If either of those two folders don't exist, create them by right clicking, clicking "create new folder," and name the folder correctly in all caps with no spaces.

Once you have opened the "GAME" folder, create a new folder inside it using the method above, only this time name it "UPDATE." Open that folder, then drag and drop the file you downloaded for the Playstation website (should be called Eboot.pbp).

Disconnect your PSP. Fully charge it, then turn it on and select "Memory Stick" in the "Games" area. You PSP should then prompt you to press start to update your firmware version. Press start, and then just let it do it's thing.

Hi i downloaded some psp iso games, my psp 3000 has ofw 6.30. So i changed the iso to eboot.pbp using this program called psx2psp and after that i put the folder to the psp game folder. then when i tried...

first you need custom firmware to play iso files, second the psx2psp is to change playstation 1 games into psp eboots not psp games, the iso is all you need for psp games if you have custom firmware, you just need to create a folder called ISO in the root of your memory stick and put the iso files in there

How to put music in my portable multimedia player

You can save your music into Music folder - ms0:/PSP/MUSIC/ or ms0:/MUSIC/ (ms0: is your memory stick).

You can create a new folder named "PSP" directly on the Memory stick and then create a folder named "MUSIC" in the PSP folder..

I cannot download games on my psp using mininova site

You need an older model PSP with update 1.54 or below. Downloading PSP games onto your PSP will void your warranty with Sony, since it is illigal and same for downloading PSP games via torrent. The copy protection on newer PSP models, PSP slim and PSP 2000 have extensive copy protection included in their frameware updates so downloading games onto the PSP is near impossible
