I have alot of CyberDome ll cameras (probably 30) on my system. They are getting older ~ 6-7 years and some are losing color. They still have great picture but when I cycle power to them they have color then lose it shortly after. Most have smoked domes on them but even when I change them to clear the problem will crop up again after awhile and not go away. They usually start with intermittent color loss then lose it completely. Does anyone know what I should be looking for - when I put them on the bench they work fine. Grrrrrrrrrr! Sounds like the bulb shorted, which is very common, and the first time it blew the fuse.

It sounds like when you put the new fuse in and tried it again, the bulb was still shorted, and this time it damaged the board.

We see (and repair) thisa lot. The problem is on the control panel, whichwe regularly repair nationwide by mail for $39.95 postpaid in about aweek.

This light failure oftenoccurs when a bulb goes out and the filamentshorts, or when the bulbs are removed or installed without firstunplugging the oven from the power line. Either can cause such afailure on the controller.

This can often alsoaffect the exhaust fan operation, too. The lights and fan can beinoperable or stuck on too.

Clean well the inside of the oven, if you keep having the problem and the inside is clean, then the magnetron is starting to go.

Hi, It sounds like the coils on top the gas valve are bad. If the ignitor glows but shuts off before a flame, the coils need changed.
